AUDA proposes three flyovers in its annual budget

Ahmedabad Urban Development Authority(AUDA) today announced construction of three flyovers – Sanathal railway over bridge, Ranasan railway over bridge and Vaishnav Devi circle flyover in its annual budget.
AUDA head Bhupendra Patel while speaking to media persons in Ahmedabad about annual budget presented today said AUDA will construct 1500 new EWS housing units.
He said ongoing projects of 566 MIG and 308 LIG housing units will complete soon and possession will given to beneficiaries in the month of March. Ongoing construction of 1708 housing units will complete by August and possession will be given in then after.
Patel said works for railway over bridges will start in next six months while Vaishnav Devi flyover will need government’s nod. Estimated cost of these projects is Rs 150 crore. He admitted that proposed works for flyovers couldn’t be completed last year.
He said survey will be held on village to village basis to check whether any individual toilet work is pending.
