Second Indo-Israel Centre of Excellence inaugurated in Rajasthan

The second Indo-Israel Centre of Excellence for farmers in Rajasthan was today inaugurated in Kota which will assist them in “improving productivity and optimising efficiency”.
Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje and Israel’s Ambassador to India Daniel Carmon inaugurated the centre which is for citrus fruits and will serve as another focal point for Indo-Israeli agriculture relationship.
It will showcase some of the most advanced agricultural technologies of Israel, adapted for Indian conditions by local experts.
“Israeli and Rajasthani experts have been adapting and jointly developing best practices that will assist farmers of Rajasthan in improving productivity and optimising efficiency,” Carmon said.
The first centre was established at Bassi in Jaipur. PTI
