Rejecting Gujarat BJP’s announcement to give 10% reservation quota to economically backward candidates in general category, leader of opposition Shri Shankersinh Vaghela today in a statement issued here said the ceiling of family income in EBC quota which has been kept Rs 6 lakh per year as per BJP announcement is not acceptable. It should be instead Rs 12 lakh income per family per year. Vaghela also said that 10% quota is not acceptable and it should be 20% instead.
