GM Halol plant to be functional till March 2017: Kaher Kazem

Vadodara: Kaher Kazem, General Motors India President and Managing Director visited company’s Halol based car manufacturing plant on Wednesday and made announcement that the plant will continue to be functional till March 2017. Earlier the company had announced that plant would be functional only upto August this year.
Kazem’s announcement brought cheers among labourers and vendors. Kazem held meeting with labourers and heard them.
The Halol plant at present manufactures Tavera car. The company may in future choose contract manufacturing or equity offer option.
