Yatin Oza to join AAP, MLA Nalin Kotadia meets Kejriwal

Rajkot: Former BJP MLA Yatin Oza who had later joined Congress but then again joined BJP has now taken a decision to join Aam Admi Party. Oza is lawyer in Gujarat High Court and heads Bar Association. He said he doesn’t wish to contest election but he would support AAP in every other way.

In another development, staunch caste fanatic MLA from Patidar community Nalin Kotadia today held meeting with Arvind Kejriwal. Kotadia was elected from Keshubhai Patel led Gujarat Parivartan Party(GPP) from Dhari seat on Patel plank. After Keshubhai Patel announced the end of GPP, Kotadia was seen campaigning for BJP during year 2014 Lok Sabha elections. During Patidar quota agitation, Kotadia openly took anti-government and anti-BJP stand. He also provoked local villagers against proposed eco zone and voiced opinion that lions should be killed. Kejriwal wants to get the support of Patidar quota agitators to make some political gains in Gujarat. State AAP president Kanubhai Kalsaria had last month organized meeting with quota agitators in Surat. Kejriwal had also recorded a video message in favor of quota agitation leader Hardik Patel. Next is line is meeting between Kejriwal and Kotadia.

While Oza joining AAP is insignificant politically as Oza enjoys no major support base or clout, success of meeting with Kotadia is essential for Kejriwal to make some relevance here.
