Vadodara: Yog Guru Baba Ramdev today said that the demonetization of Rs 500/1000 notes has affected his firm Patanjali’s business by around 25% but he welcomed this decision of the Prime Minister who has taken the bold step to check the misuse of black money and fake currency by anti national and terror elements.
Baba Ramdev, who arrived here to participate in the birth centenary function of Vaishavacharya Dwarkeshlal ji, told newsmen at Harini airport that the business of his firm Patanjali has been affected by almost one fourth owing to the scrapping of Rs 500/1000 notes but it was a good decision.
‘ Prime Minister Narendra Modi, in a sense has put his own life in danger from the mafia associated with politics, black money, drugs and terrorism by taking this bold step,’ the yoga guru said.
However, the decision was very good one and would effectively check the terror funding and anti national elements from hoarding and using black money.
