Indore: Gujarat has created history by winning Ranji Trophy for the first time.

In a final match today, Gujarat(328 and 313/5) defeated Mumbai(228 and 411) by five wickets to win Ranji Trophy title for the first time by chasing 312-run target.

Gujarat (328 and 313/5) beat Mumbai (228 and 411) by 5 wickets to lift maiden Ranji Trophy title. Gujarat team had reached in Ranji Trophy final lastly in 1950. However Baroda, Saurashtra, Nawanagar teams from Gujarat had reached the final on various occasions and Baroda and Nawanagar team had won finals too, but for Gujarat team has for the first time won the title for the first time.
