Palanpur: After day-long heat and humid atmosphere, district headquarters Palanpur in North Gujarat experienced hailstorm with strong wind in the evening. Many advertisement hoardings collapsed and roofs of houses suffered damage due to combination of strong wind and hailstorm. Power failure was experienced by locals due to heavy rain.
