Ahmedabad: Gujarat Congress leaders today met at State party headquarters and finalized few of party’s upcoming programmes. Party’s national vice president Rahul Gandhi will be holding Navsarjan tribal rights public meeting at Dediapada. 1st May is Gujarat’s foundation day. Part president Bharatsinh Solanki said this public meeting will be made historic.

Solanki during this meeting specially mentioned trouble the farmers are facing in connection with Tuver purchase.

Solanki said each political party has to complete its organizational elections. The Congress party will need to complete its organizational election in the month of May. Solanki expressed wish for election of Rahul Gandhi on the post of Congress president.

Solanki said, former state party president Arjun Modhwadia will launch Kinara Bachao Abhiyan from Mandvi in Kutch on 3rd May. The Abhiyan will conclude at Valsad in South Gujarat.

Solanki further said that each booth committee’s 15-15 members will be trained by Jawaharlal Nehru Leadership Institute. The party will also appoint page prabhari, responsibility of which will be with assembly seat observer and Lok Sabha seat main observer.
