Surat: Surat police today detained handful of Patidar Anamat Andolan Samiti workers including convener Alpesh Kathiria for attacking Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha(BJYM) butter milk centre.

The incident took place in Sarthana area where ruling Bharatiya Janata Party(BJP)’s youth wing cadres were distributing butter milk for free as cover against summer heat. Workers of PAAS arrived there and alleged that BJP was doing stunt. They create ruckus and removed butter milk from container.

BJP youth wing workers also reacted strongly in self defense.

Police intervened at right time and detained the PAAS hooligans.
