Shankus Medicity hospital opens in Mahesana

Mahesana: Shankus Medicity, a 60-bed multi speciality hospital which is to be expanded to a 300-bed hospital in next 3 years was inaugurated in Mahesana by Deputy Chief Minister Nitin Patel and MoS Health Shankarbhai Chaudhary today. Speaking on this occasion, Nitin Patel said this hospital could become a medical college in future. The state has today 3500 medical seats, he added. Speaking here, MoS Health Shankarbhai Chaudhary said the State government provides Rs 1 crore assistance for green field medical college under its medical health policy. Dilipbhai Chaudhary of SMC said his group has completed 13 years in health sector. No patient in this hospital will be returned without treatment irrespective of his/her financial condition, he added.
