Two sulking MLAs skip Gujarat Congress’s meet for Presidential poll demonstration

Gandhinagar: A meeting of Congress legislature party was held today in capital Gandhinagar in which two sulking Congress MLAs Hakubha Jadeja and Raghavjibhai Patel were absent. Leader of opposition Shankersinh Vaghela in his talk to media persons after the meeting said both absent MLAs were on way to attend meeting and they will reach Gandhinagar in the evening.
The meeting which was also attended by state party incharge Ashok Gehlot and senior party leader from Delhi Sunil Shastri was held to give demonstration of method of polling in Presidential election. While the actual polling is going to be held tomorrow, today both Gujarat BJP and Gujarat Congress had organized training round for tomorrow’s polling to train the MLAs.
When Shankersinh cast his vote in demonstration today, State party chief Bharatsinh Solanki in lighter tone taunted him by saying, ‘Bapu you need to come to caste your vote tomorrow.’
Two absent Congress MLAs Hakubha Jadeja and Raghavji Patel have displayed their displeasure for Congress party and its state leadership publicly more than once in recent past over several issues.
