New Delhi: Bharatsinh Solanki, president of Gujarat Pradesh Congress Committee(GPCC) is camping in Delhi for last four days and holding series of meetings including the meetings with senior party leader Ahmed Patel, party vice president Rahul Gandhi and state party incharge Ashok Gehlot.

Solanki today said the party will hold a felicitation function of MLAs and Shri Ahmed patel on August 29th in Surat. The party has also planned to hold Khedut Satyagrah at Pardi in South Gujarat on September 1 in which all opposition parties are invited to participate.

Meanwhile sources say the party has almost finalized the new organizational structure in which MLA Paresh Dhanani and MLA Ashwin Kotal along with former MP Jagdish Thakor and former MoS in Centre Tushar Chaudhary are likely to be made working presidents(executive presidents) of state party unit.

The party is likely to hand over the responsibility of campaign committee head to former state party president Siddharth Patel while Manifesto committee is likely to be headed by Rajya Sabha MP Madhusudan Mistry. The party is believed in process to 3 vice presidents, 5 general secretaries, 4 spokespersons and 10 secretaries. The party has also prepared a list of 19 members of election committee.
