Surat District Panchayat hands over Rs 1.20 crore cheque to CM for flood relief

Gandhinagar: A cheque of Rs 1.20 crore from Surat District Panchayat was handed over to Chief Minister Vijay Rupani today for the flood relief work in Banaskantha and Patan districts of North Gujarat.
President of the district Panchayat Sureshbhai Patel along with other office bearers of the local body led by Minister of Tribal Development, Tourism and Forest Ganpatbhai Vasava met CM Rupani and handed over the cheque to be deposited in the CM Relief Fund.
CM Rupani praised the humane approach of the local body.
Notably cores of rupees have been donated by various organization both domestic and from abroad in the CM Relief Fund for the assistance to flood affected after the appeal of CM Rupani.
