Ahmedabad: Dr. Param Shah has been appointed as the new Director, United Kingdom (UK), of the apex industry body, Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI). Mr. Biju Namboothiri will be the new In-charge of FICCI Gujarat State Council.

Speaking on his appointment, Mr. Rajiv Vastupal, Chairman, FICCI-Gujarat State Council, said, “Dr Param Shah will succeed Mr. Pratik Dattani whose tenure with FICCI ended recently. We are hopeful that Dr Param Shah, with his experience and enthusiasm, will be able to build newer partnerships for FICCI in the UK, and strengthen the existing ones.”

Dr. Shah has more than 15 years of experience, which includes working for Gujarat Chamber of Commerce and Industry as Deputy Secretary General, and with FICCI as the head of FICCI – Gujarat State Council. He has also been associated with the Gujarat Chamber of Commerce and Industry as Deputy Secretary General. Mr. Namboothiri was associated with the FM radio industry and Gujarat Tourism in his earlier assignments.
