Vadodara: Ground breaking ceremony for proposed 130 acres Swarnim Gujarat Sports University will take place on March 17 at Desar in Vadodara district of Central Gujarat.

The university will have facilities such as Sports science centre, multipurpose indoor hall, indoor swimming pool, synthetic athletic track, sports industries training centre and fitness testing centre.

The university will offer courses such as physical education, sports management, sports science, coaching, adventure sports and sports journalism.

Ground breaking will be performed by the State Chief Minister.
