BJP MP Liladhar Vaghela’s grandson joins Congress
June 11, 2018
Ahmedabad: Ajay Vaghela, grandson of ruling Bharatiya Janata Party(BJP) MP Liladhar Vaghela joined Congress party in presence of Gujarat Congress chief Amit Chavda on Sunday. Vaghela joined Congress in party’s State executive meeting held in Ahmedabad.
Vaghela said he left BJP after continuous neglect and injustice. He said the issues of Thakor and Dalit communities are not heard by BJP.
It should be noted here that last year, just ahead of the general elections of Gujarat assembly, Liladhar Vaghela had stated that if he would resign from parliament if his son was not given ticket to contest from Deesa assembly seat. The party had not given ticket to Liladhar’s son and at the same time convinced him not to take extreme step.
