British firm Jaivel Aerospace Ltd opens Engineering & Developing Centre in Gujarat; manufacturing unit at Sanand to come up by 2019

Ahmedabad: Geoff Wain, British deputy high commissioner in Gujarat today launched Aerospace Engineering & Development Centre of UK based aerospace component manufacturing technology company Jaivel Aerospace Limited(JAL) in presence of JAL CEO and Founder Vipul Vachhani here.
The newly opened Aerospace Engineering & Development Centre located in modern facilities on S. G. Road of Ahmedabad, will house more than 40 highly skilled engineers and project management professionals. The team Ahmedabad will integrate Jaivel Aerospace’s international team and will support Jaivel’s international aerospace customers as well as the development of Manufacturing Facility in Sanand Ahmedabad.
According to the company, Gujarat government has shown great support to Jaivel Aerospace limited and have welcomed them to Gujarat.
Ahmedabad centre will provide intelligent Manufacturing Solutions to Jaivel Aerospace’s global customers.The centre will also provide project management support to upcoming Integrated Manufacturing Facility in Sanand.
The Manufacturing Facility of high precision parts, according to the company is expected to start operation in December 18 and start delivery of Tooling and Flying Components in first quarter of 2019. The company has committed investment of Rs 103 crore over a period of five years.The 20,000 square metres manufacturing facility will employ over 350 highly skilled engineers. Majority of the parts produced at Sanand plant will be exported. The company’s clients include Boeing, Rolls Royce and Bombardier.
