PM Modi to inaugurate Pakyong airport in Sikkim

New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be on his second visit to small state Sikkim on September 23. He will inaugurate the state’s first airport at Pakyong, located 39 km from state capital to put Sikkim on the aviation map of the country. He will also address a public meeting during his one-day visit. The new airport has undergone trials. Commercial operation of flights will commence from this new airport in the first week of October.
