Brutal treatment with two women in Central Gujarat- 4 accused who made them naked and beat up after tying with trees still at large

Dahod: The four accused, all of a family, who had allegedly brutally beaten up and given burn injuries with hot iron rods to the two women of their extended family after making them nude by tearing apart their cloths and tying them with trees in tribal dominant Dahod district of central Gujarat have not yet been arrested.

Nuriben and Leelaben the two women who are wives of two brothers had met with the brutal treatment by the elder brother of their husband, his wife and two sons in Tadhagola village in the evening of November 20 but the case was lodged only after two days yesterday in the Limabdi police station. They had sustained injuries and fractures and were hospitalized.

PSI of Limbadi P M Jundal today said that on the basis of a complaint lodged by daughter of Nuriben, Pushpaben, an FIR under sections 114, 323, 325,342,354, 504, 526 and section 135 of the Gujarat police act has been lodged against Mashubhai Ramjubhai, his wife Juthiben and two sons Kailash and Mahendra.

As per the complaint, another son of Mashubhai, named Bhavik had died on October 2 and they had doubt that the two woman had practiced black magic/witchcraft to kill the boy. They had forced enter the house of the two victims and pulled them out before making them naked in public and beating them after tying with two trees.

The accused have fled and efforts to nab them at the earlierst were on, Jundal said.
