Gujarat govt clears six TP schemes “to expedite planned development in Ahmedabad”

Gandhinagar: Gujarat government today sanctioned as many as six Town Planning Schemes (TPs).
Of them, four are draft schemes, while one each is preliminary and final scheme. With clearance of these six TP Schemes, the government has cleared as many as 94 town planning schemes in less than 10-months’ time in the state.

These TPs included, AUDA’s draft scheme 62 – Khoraj, 455 – Vinzol, 409-A Khoraj Tragad 9 – Borisana Saij and preliminary TP Scheme 4-1 Sanand and TP Scheme 216 Shilaj.

The four draft schemes sanctioned by the Chief Minister would make well planned development on 250.9 hectare of land at a cost of Rs. 350-crore. These schemes will have roads having width of 12 meters or more, with total length of 26 km.

The authorities will avail total 53.50 hectare of land for roads, 37.86 hectares for gardens and public parks, 3.28 hectares for social infrastructure, 11.60 hectares for economically and socially weaker sections, and 12.60 hectares for commercial and residential.

The inclusion of Sanand’s TPS 4-A would also make planned development at adjoining Sanand town.
In these schemes, the authorities are going to get total 12 final land plots. They would allow 84,551 Sq. Mt. of lands for residential, commercial and sell, 62,476 Sq. Mt. for economically and socially weaker sections, 83,757 Sq. Mt. public amenities, and 28,773 Sq. Mt. for gardens and public parks.
Mr. Rupani also instructed to the concerned officials to finish the earlier sanctioned schemes at the earliest with 100 % achievements.
