Ahmedabad: Dhavnit Thaker aka RJ Dhvanit has once again teamed up with Faisal Hashmi, the writer-director of the regional movie ‘Vitamin She’, for upcoming film ‘Short Circuit’ along with Kinjal Rajpriya , a lead actress in urban Gujarati regional movies like Chello Divas and Shu Thayu, and stand up comedian and actor Smit Pandya to give the audience a never seen before the experience of larger than life filmmaking.

In the film, Dhvanit is playing the character of IT engineer who is struggling with a deja-vu kind-of phenomenon and convincing his friend, Smit Pandya about the same. Gorgeous Kinjal will be seen playing role fiery TV anchor.

Written by Faisal Hashmi, Bhargav Purohit, and Mohsin Chavda, the story of the film revolves around the Dhvanit’s character ‘Samay’ who is stuck in a situation because of a failed science experiment where he is compelled to go beyond the time and space dimensions to save the love of his life.

Commenting on the film Faisal Hashmi Said “We are overwhelmed with the response of audience on the teaser. International teams were roped in for cinematography. Renowned music composer Mehul Surti composed music of the film. Team of which worked on recently released Rajnikant’s ‘2.0’ has mixed the film. Short Circuit is the first Gujarati Film which is mixed at AR Rehman Studios.

The film is set to release on 11th January 2019. With its edge-of-the-seat thrills and an epic adventure and Time-Thriller genre, this film is set to be a benchmark project in Gujarat Regional movie industry.
