March 30, 2019
Ahmedabad: Shiromani Akali Dal President and former Punjab CM Prakash Singh Badal today heaped praise upon BJP chief Amit Shah for his extra-ordinary organizational abilities saying that he was not a man but was an ‘institution’ of sorts.
Addressing a meeting organized at Sardar Patel chowk here before the nomination of Shah as BJP candidate on Gandhinagar seat, Badal said that Shah’s life was like a light-house.
‘I have no hesitation in saying that he was not a man but an institution and is the biggest campaigner/ organizer in the country. He was also the chief campaigner/organizer along with Modi ji in the last LS election. And after Modi ji he should get the credit for the government formation. He is a grass-root leader with connection with the base,’ Badal said.
Talking about the coming LS poll he said that the Opposition has no leader. ‘ Even when an assembly election takes place every party/coalition names a leader as its CM candidate but the opposition has no leader as PM candidate in the LS poll,’ he said.
Praising Modi, he said that he has done so much of service to the nation and had taken the the name of country high and up. ‘Under the Modi regime the security of the country was totally intact. With aerial strike and other such measures he has taken the name of India high and up. The biggest thing was there was no casualty to our forces in the operation. He has also crushed the militancy effectively,’ he said.
Badal said that he personally held high regard for Modi and BJP as the an old and reliable ally of the party. He prayed to the god to bring back Mod as PM with bigger majority.
