Gandhinagar: Gujarat BJP chief Jitubhai Vaghani and minister of state for Home department Pradipsinh Vaghela were spotted attending Radhanpur MLA Alpesh Thakor’s social function. Their pictures posed together were in circulation on social media.

Alpesh has in recent past resigned from all posts of Congress party. He has however not resigned as MLA. Alpesh had worked against Congress candidate in Lok Sabha elections in Gujarat last month. Congress has in its communication to State Assembly Speaker sought expulsion of Alpesh from the post of MLA.

Replying the questions asked by media persons, Alpesh said, ‘I live at same place for last 30 years and I had organized a function after renovation of my house in which only 300 persons were invited. Among those 250 were those living in my residential society area. Others were relative. District Congress president Vaghela and BJP leader Jitubhai Vaghani and Pradipsinh Jadeja were invited as I have good relation with them for long. I have good relation with Chief Minister Rupani also.’
