President Ram Nath Kovind visits Prime Minister’s mother Hiraba in Gujarat

Gandhinagar: President of India Shri Ram Nath Kovind today morning paid visit to Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s younger brother Pankaj Modi’s house in Raysan area of Gandhinagar to meet Prime Minister’s mother Hiraba.
Gujarat governor Acharya Devvrat joined Rashtrapati in this visit.
A twitter handle of the President of India tweeted a photo and mentioned: President Kovind met Hira Baa, mother of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi in Gandhinagar, Gujarat. The President conveyed his best wishes for her good health.

The President spent around half an hour at Hiraba’s residence.
It is learnt that Hiraba presented him wooden charkha. The President was also joined by his wife in this visit.
The President also visited Koba (on Ahmedabad – Gandhinagar road) based Jain religious institution which runs a museum and research facility.
The President arrived at Sardar Patel airport yesterday.
