More areas of Anand covered under Disturbed Areas Act

Gandhinagar: The Government of Gujarat has taken a decision to implement the provisions of the Disturbed Area Act in various areas of Anand town in Central Gujarat.
Chief Minister Vijay Rupani gave approval to this decision in response to a proposal received from Anand district collector.
As per this decision, Anand city’s Nani Khodiyar, Gangdev Nagar, Moti Khodiyar, Podar international school Radha Swami satsang, IRIS hospital, Lambhvel road, an area opposite the railway station, Gujarati chowk, Post Office, Anand municipality, Gamdivad, Kishor plaza, Amul dairy road, Charotar bank, Lakshmi cinema, May-fare road, Nariman complex and Jain upashray localities are covered under the disturbed area act.
In addition to this, Anand town’s new bus stand, CP college, 100 ft road, Royal plaza, Indira statue, Grid, People medical society, Bethak mandir, Jain society, Mahavir park, area opposite Mahavir society, Anand Vidyanagar road, Town hall, Panchal hall, Gopi cinema area, Avkuda road, Big bazar, 80 ft road, D.Z. high school, Rutu ice cream, HM Patel statue, Motikaka chawl area, Zydus hospital Panghat hotel, Nishant eye hospital, Himalaya hospital, area behind Himalaya township areas are now covered under the disturbed area act.
