Gandhinagar: Revenue Minister Kaushik Patel today said that out of total 3,213 plots under under consent agreement, procedures for acquisition of 2,735 plots have been completed on Ahmedabad – Mumbai high speed rail (bullet train) project, for which more than Rs. 2100 crore sum has been paid. Patel further said, Gujarat has completed 80% work of land acquisition on the route of proposed bullet train project. He said bullet train will pass through 197 villages of 8 districts in Gujarat. He said out of 714 hectare land needed for the project, acquisition of 571 hectare land has been completed. Out of total 197 villages, joint measurement survey procedure has been completed in 199 villages.
