Rajpipla: District administration of Narmada has planned Rs. 27 crore road connecting Statue of Unity to Mathasar for which tenders will be out soon. The road will pass through reserved forest land for which government approval will be required. With construction of a road connecting Statue of Unity to Mathasar, access to Maharshtra will be easier because a road connecting Mathasar and Dumkhal is ready and just across Dev river in Dumkhal, Maharshtra limit starts. This would give opportunity to tourists coming to Statue of Unity to consume liquor just 30 km away from the Statue in Maharashtra border area.
