Gandhinagar: The Appointments Committee of the union Cabinet has approved the proposal of Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India for extension in service of Shivanajd Jha (Gujarat cadre 1983 batch IPS officer) for a period of three months beyond April 30 in relaxation of rule of the All India Service in public interest. Jha is Director General of Police (DGP) of Gujarat Police.
