Gandhinagar: After he was removed from the post of president of Gujarat unit of Nationalist Congress Party, former Chief Minister Shankersinh Vaghela said in a press conference that he would not stay in a political party that is into match fixing. Vaghela said he had told NCP leader Praful Patel over phone call that he would come to Mumbai and meet him, but by the time he (Vaghela) returned from a visit to Kevadiya Colony, he learned that he was replaced as State NCP president by former NCP MLA Jayant Bosky, an aide of Praful Patel. Vaghela said he would have asked lone NCP MLA in the assembly Kandhal Jadeja to vote for Congress candidates in Rajya Sabha election if he was State NCP president. Shankersinh said, his candidates will contest all local elections that are going to take place in near future including by-polls of State assembly. He said by-polls will be held for 12 vacant assembly seats in near future and his candidates will contest them. The vacant seats as on today are 8.
