Gujarat govt hand over Vejalpur talav to AMC for beautification and development

Gandhinagar: The Government of Gujarat today said a decision has been taken to hand over Vejalpur pond in Ahmedabad to Amdavad Municipal Corporation (AMC) at free of cost for development.
32,072 sq.m. size Vejalpur pond is located in Vejalpur taluka survey number 783.
The State government had earlier handed over five ponds to AMC for city beautification. The include Vandarvat talav in Vatva, government talav in Chharodi, Gaam talav in Gota, government talav in Shilaj and Ghatlodia taluka talav in Sola.
