AMC allots land at Sabarmati Riverfront for water aerodrome

Amdavad Municipal Corporation (AMC) Standing Committee today cleared allotment of 4,047 sq m land for setting up a water aerodrome at Sabarmati Riverfront for operations of Seaplane service that are likely to kick off from October 31. The land is located on norther side of Ambedkar river bridge in Paldi survey area. The land will be handed over to Civil Aviation department of central government. A concrete platform for water aerodrome has been dispatched and it is on the way to Sabarmati Riverfront. Private operator Spicejet is going to operate a seaplane service connecting Sabarmati Riverfront to Sardar Sarovar – Statue of Unity site. DeshGujarat
