In pictures: Floating concrete platform arrives at Sabarmati Riverfront

Paldi: Six mega trucks with pieces of floating concrete platforms arrived at Sabarmati Riverfront today morning. These concrete platforms will together form a jetty of water aerodrome which is going to be used to operate a seaplane service which is likely to be inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on upcoming 31st of October. Private airline SpiceJet is going to launch daily flights connecting Sabarmati Riverfront and Sardar Sarovar Narmada dam. Water aerodrome is going to be erected on the northern side of Ambedkar river bridge.
