Sri Sathya Sai Heart Hospital Ahmedabad renews MoU with Odisha Govt for two more years

Ahmedabad: City based Sri Sathya Sai heart Hospital and the Government of Odisha have on November 20 this year renewed a Memorandum of Understanding(MoU) signed on 18th November 2018 for another two years. Thanks to this development, underprivileged and needy children of Odisha will continue to get an opportunity to avail free cardiac treatment at Sri Sathya Sai Heart Hospital, Ahmedabad.
Sri Sathya Sai Heart Hospital is a temple of healing which has taken up the herculean task of healing little hearts totally free of cost. Till date 1019 children from Odisha have been successfully operated totally free of cost at Sai Heart Hospital. Even during these challenging pandemic times the hospital was functioning with divine grace. Now slowly once again the children from Odisha will start coming.
Present on the occasion of renewal of MoU were Shri Naveen Patnaik, the Chief Minister of Odisha, Justice Shri Vineet Saran (Judge in the supreme court of India) Justice Shri Mohammad Rafiq (chief Justice of Odisha High Court ) Justice(Retd) Shri Kalpesh Jhaveri , the Additional Chief Secretary(Health, Government of Odisha), MD (NHM) and other key government officials .
As per the agreement, they would identify and bear the transportation cost of these ailing children. A noble gesture indeed ! Taking the goodness ahead, they were operated totally free of cost at Sri Sathya Sai Heart hospital with complete love, selfless commitment and 100% medical care.
Shri Manoj Bhimani, Managing Trustee of Sri Sathya Sai Heart hospital said “ The Hospital is on a Service Mission of curing little Hearts a to build a cardiac disease free society.”
He added, “the state of Odisha was very dear to Swami and for Sai hospital also, the children of Odisha are very special. In fact the first such MOU was signed with the state of Odisha followed by the Governments of Rajasthan and Madhya Pradesh,”
He said that renewal of MOU would give the hospital an opportunity to serve the children of the state so that these smiling little flowers can start on new life ahead. Everything from Surgery to the Pre and Post-Operative care is done totally free here and the support comes from the Odisha govt, which gives transport assistance to the patient and their escorts who are referred to Prashanti Medical Services and Research and Foundation as per their eligibility.
The renewal of this MOU is another step in the Service Goals.
Justice Shri Vineet Saran described Odisha as his second home. It was Shri Vineet Saran who introduced Prashanti Medical Services and Research Foundation to the Government of Odisha.
Shri Mohmmad Rafiq said that the highest religion is to serve the humanity and Sai Heart Hospital is the best example of this selfless service. He appreciated the firm commitment of the hospital and the state Government of Odisha for working untiringly in this direction.
Justice (Retd.) Shri Kalpesh Jhaveri, a close associate of this noble cause wished Health & Wealth for this wonderful State. He said that Sai Heart Hospital works with total dedication for healing little hearts without expectations.
