Archaeological excavation in progress at Vihar village near Gandhinagar

Gandhinagar: Archaeological excavation has been launched by a team of Archaeological Survey of India (ASI) last week at Vihar village near Mansa in North Gujarat in Gauchar land near Vihariya Hanuman mandir and it is in progress. In the outskirts of Vihar village, there are two small mounds and it be presumed that there are Buddhist structured, most likely to be monasteries (Vihar in Sanskrit) buried there. DeshGujarat
