Want BJP ticket? Give details of your social media handles, followers count, donation to Ram temple and more

Gandhinagar: Ruling Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in Gujarat has released a form to fill for those who want to apply for party’s ticket to contest upcoming local body elections. Among other things, the form has also sections in which applicant cadre has to mention his/her facebook, twitter and instagram identity and number of followers. There’s a section in the form in which an applicant has to mention his/her position in any NGO, Trust, institution, employees’ federation or cooperatives.
Ticket seekers are specifically asked to reply whether they have contributed to Samarpan Nidhi – 2018 (party’s fund collection drive) and share related details.
An applicant also needs to reply whether he/she has made contribution to Shri Ram Janmbhoomi Tirth Kshetra Fund, and share related details. While the fund collection drive is still underway, applicants are likely to make contribution before filling a form.
Applicants for party tickets are also asked to fill the names of the government schemes and beneficiaries they have enrolled.
Applicants are asked to reply whether they have formed page committees of entire booth.
Such form needs to be filled with required details and hand over to State party observers.
