Modasa: Nilanshi Patel, a Teenage Girl from Modasa in North Gujarat who has achieved Guinness World Records title for the longest hair on a teenager for three-times, recently decided to cut-off her hairs and donate it to Ripley’s Believe it or Not, USA. After her hair had been cut and tied up into a bunch, it weighed a total of 266 grams (9.4 oz).

A teenage girl named Nilanshi Patel, has held the Guinness World Records title for the longest hair on a teenager since 2018. At the time when she was 16 years old, her hair measured 170.5 cm or 5 feet 7 inches. Just before her 18th birthday in July 2020, her hair reached the incredible length of 200 cm or 6 feet 6.7 inches. She had decided to stop having haircuts when she was 6 years old and stuck to her decision for twelve years further.

She finally made a decision to have a hair-cut and donate her hairs to a museum, after having a discussion with her mother Kaminiben. To support her daughter, Kaminiben also donated her hair to charity. After being shipped to the USA from India, her hair will be on display at Ripley’s Believe it or Not! Museum in the USA.
