Remdesivir production up at 1.5 lakh vials a day and to be doubled in days to come: Mandaviya

New Delhi: Remdesivir injection production has been up at daily 1.5 lakh vials as on today. In upcoming days it will be doubled to 3 lakh. New 20 plants in addition to existing 20 have been granted approval for production, said Union Minister Mansukh Mandaviya today in a video statement today amid extreme shortage of Remdesivir injections that has made a serious situation of unavailability, black marketing, priority controls and other repercussions.
