Collect no fine other than for mask rule violation from vehicle riders: CM instructs

Vadodara: Minister of State and Vadodara MLA Yogesh Patel today in a note informed that Chief Minister Rupani has given clear instructions to Transport minister RC Faldu and MoS Home Pradipsinh Jadeja that police should collect fine only for mask rule violation and not for other issues from those with vehicles.
Senior MLA and minister of state Yogesh Patel in a note said he had led attention of Chief Minister that police in Vadodara had recently started issuing memo to two-wheeler and three-wheeler riders. In case of two-wheelers, police would collect Rs. 3,000-4,000 fine while in case of four-wheelers, the amount of fine would be Rs. 8,000 to Rs. 10,000.
Patel further said, if vehicle is detained, it is not released for a week period. Vehicle owners have to go to RTO and join long queues to pay fine in this time of pandemic and peak summer heat. The citizens on way to hospital with a patient also face trouble.
