Ahmedabad: Private run Apollo hospital will start a drive-through vaccination site on GMDC ground in the city from May 27. As this is a private run vaccination drive, each beneficiary will need to pay Rs. 1,000 for a dose of vaccine. Those in 18+ age group will be able to register on the spot for vaccine.

Apollo will do own arrangement of all logistics such as vaccine, staff and other things. Amdavad Municipal Corporation (AMC) will make other required arrangements at GMDC ground in public private partnership mode.

The timing of drive-through vaccination will be during 9 am to 5 pm. Daily 1,000 beneficiaries will be administered vaccine, payment for which will need to be done through cash, card or PayTM. DeshGujarat

Update: When inquired, an AMC official said that at present Covishield vaccine will be administered at this drive-through site.
