Gujarat Chief Minister today on behalf of the people of Gujarat welcomed the announcement by Reliance Industries Chairman Shri Mukeshbhai Ambani to set up Dhirubhai Ambani Green Energy Complex in Gujarat.

The Chief Minister said that thanks to such an ambitious project, Gujarat will emerge as an important place on the global green energy map.

He said this will boost social and economic development in the State and create new opportunities of employment.

He said, at present time that demands increased use of green energy and renewable energy, Rs. 60,000 crore investment in this sector by Reliance will result into better environment and prosperity. DeshGujarat
