Ahmedabad gets a new flyover today connecting Thaltej underpass to Sola overbridge

Ahmedabad: A new 1500 meter long flyover connecting Thaltej underpass and Sola over bridge close to Zydus hospital on Sarkhej – Gandhinagar highway in the city was inaugurated today at 4 pm by Deputy Chief Minister Nitin Patel who is also Road and Building minister. A new flyover is part of 4200 meter elevated bridge connecting Thaltej underpass to Gota. The total cost of Thaltej – Gota 4200 meter (4.18 km) long bridge (elevated corridor) will be Rs. 325 crore out of which the cost involved in the 1.48 km long bridge opened today is Rs. 51 crore. The government aims to seamlessly connect Sarkhej to Gandhinagar six-lane road without any traffic junction or cross roads. Several flyovers and underpass have been already inaugurated in the course of this project, while several others including the State’s longest elevated corridor are under progress. DeshGujarat
