Gujarati film actor Arvind Rathod passes away

Ahmedabad: Gujarati film and stage actor Arvind Rathod passed away due to heart attack, informed renown Gujarati film actor Hitu Kanodiya today. Rathod according to him was infected with Covid-19 virus about three months ago. He had recovered but post-covid complications still persisted.
Photojournalist-turned-actor Arvind Rathod began his career in the 1970s. Arvind has appeared in Gujarati movies such as Baba Ramdev Peer (1976), Raja Gopichand (1979), Shetal Tara Oona Pani (1986), and Dikrine Na Desho Koi Pardesh (2011).
He worked in Hindi films Lady Killer, Johny Uska Naam, Badnam Farishte, Kora Kagaz, Toofan Aur Bijlee, Mera Jiwan, Salaam Memsaab, Agneepath, Khuda Gawah, Tawaif Ki Beti. He also worked in Gujarati movies, Tension Thayi Gayu, Hu Tari Meera Ne Tu Maro Shyam Re, Sabar Tara Vehta Pani, Shetal Tara Unda Pani, Maa Khodal Taro Khamkaro, Kanku Ni Kimat, Putra Vadhu, Jagya Tyathi Sawaar, Alkhane Oatle, Jog Sanjog, Maniyaro, Ganga Sati, Mota Gharni Vahu, Sone Kansari, Bhadar Tara Vehata Paani among others.
