ACB Gujarat book Talati and clerk in Rs. 10,000 bribe case

Gandhinagar: Anti Corruption Bureau (ACB) of Gujarat has booked Talati cum mantri and computer operator of Magodi gram panchayat in Gandhinagar district in Rs 10,000 bribe case.
Accused Mehul Mistry is Talati cum Mantri while Vikram Thakor is clerk cum computer operator.
A bribe of Rs. 10,000 was demanded by him to sign and stamp an application seeking separate ration card submitted by an individual, resident of Magod village. As the individual didn’t want to pay bribe, he contacted ACB, following which a trap was arranged.
A clerk cum computer operator Vikram Thakor was nabbed while accepting bribe at Dabhoda tran rasta on behalf of Talati and main accused Mehul Mistry. Police has detained clerk who received bribe while accused Talati is still untraced. DeshGujarat
