Ahmedabad: 144th Rath Yatra will be held in Ahmedabad tomorrow on July 12, due to which all areas under the police stations namely Gaekwad Haveli, Khadia, Kalupur, Shaherkotda, Dariyapur, Shahpur, Karanj, entire area of Sabarmati riverfront- East and several areas of Madhavpura, Kagdapith and Danilimda police stations will witness curfew from 6 am to 2 pm.

Night curfew is already effective in Ahmedabad for 10 pm to 6 am period daily in connection with covid19 pandemic. It will be extended till 2 pm in the afternoon on the day of Rath Yatra. No routine road movements will be allowed in the areas under curfew as per section-144, as ordered by City Police Commissioner Sanjay Srivastav. DeshGujarat
