Tatlati and husband of Sarpanch held for taking bribe in Central Gujarat

Kheda: Anti-corruption Bureau (ACB) has nabbed Talati Cum Mantri and husband of Sarpanch of Rohisa Village of Mehmedabad Taluka in Kheda in a bribe case of Rs 10,000 today.
The complainant had given an affidavit and declaration to the accused Talati Vinodbhai alias Vinubhai Chaturbhai Chauhan for legal heir certificate regarding his land in Rohisa after the death of his brothers in 2016. The talati didn’t do any process regarding legal heir certificate and asked the complainant to meet the second accused Rameshbhai Babarbhai Parmar.
The second accused asked for a bribe of Rs 30,000 from the complainant and both accused accepted Rs 10,000 bribe in advance from the complainant. Later, the complainant had agreed to pay Rs 10,000 in place of remaining bribe sum of Rs 20,000.
The complainant contacted ACB as he was not willing to pay the bribe. During a trap executed by ACB, the first accused was found demanding payment of bribe to the second accused on the phone. Accused are detained. DeshGujarat
