Junagadh: Spiritual leader and Bhagwat Kathakar Bhaishri Rameshbhai Oza was conferred with honorary Doctorate in the convocation ceremony of Bhakta Kavi Narsinh Mehta University today in the presence of Gujarat Chief Minister Vijaybhai Rupani.
Rameshbhai Oza is pioneer of Sandipani Gurukul in Porbandar and a renowned Bhagwat kathakar. He is a well-known spiritual leader and singer-preacher of Vedanta philosophy.
In the convocation, degrees were awarded to more than 30 thousand students of 162 colleges affiliated to the University in six faculties. Gold medals were awarded to 54 students including 43 girls.
Bhaishri Rameshbhai Oza said while addressing the students, “Today is the occasion of accepting the degrees with a dignified sense of responsibility for the students. Schools, colleges and Universities make us deserving and then award the degrees. A qualification is today received from the university by the students here but qualification is not limited to only certificate. There are responsibilities are attached with it.”
He appealed to the students to perform their duties with skills, loyalty and responsibility in each field.
