Rupani in Junagadh for State-level celebration of 75th Independence Day

Gandhinagar: Gujarat Chief Minster Vijay Rupani will be on two-day tour of Junagadh on August 14 and 15, 2016 to attend the 75th Independence Day state-level celebration and various functions at the district headquarters.
On August 14 will be held the ceremonial At Home at Junagadh Agriculture University campus in presence of Governor Acharya Devvrat and the Chief Minister and they will exchange greetings with prominent citizens and leaders. They will next attend the Independence Day theme-based Cultural Programme, titled ‘Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav’, at the agriculture university cricket ground at 6.30 pm.
On August 15, the Chief Minister will unfurl and salute the National Flag at the Parade Ground on Bilkha Road at 9.30 am and address the people of Gujarat. He will hand over 10,000 body worn cameras and 15 drone cameras to the Gujarat Police to equip the law enforcer protect the citizens more effectively.
All the programmes will be held as per full Covid-19 protocols in view of the prevailing pandemic coronavirus Covid-19 situation.
