First instruction by new Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel

Gandhinagar: Newly elected Chief Minister of Gujarat, Bhupendra Patel today spoke to district collector of Jamnagar and issued instruction to extend urgent help and shift 35 persons from 3 villages who were stuck in flood water to safe location and make arrangement of air lifting.
According to State Emergency Operation Center, Kalavad taluka in Jamnagar district today morning received over 7.80 inches of rains in four hours from 6 to 10 am. The taluka received 198 mm rainfall in this period. Same taluka by 8 am today received 6.92 inches of rain (176 mm) in 24 hours.
Another taluka Dhrol of Jamnagar district received 176 mm rainfall in 24 hours ending at 8 am today. DeshGujarat
