In video: Bhupendra Patel takes charge of Chief Minister’s office, installs Simandhar Murti

Gandhinagar: Soon after his swearing in as 17th Chief Minister of Gujarat, Bhupendra Patel (59) took charge of the office of Chief Minister of Gujarat for the first time today afternoon. Presented here are the visuals of same. Patel succeeds outgoing Chief Minister Vijaybhai Rupani.
Patel installed a murti of Simandhar Swami in his office right in front of his desk. He was aided in this installation ceremony by representatives of Dada Bhagwan pariwar. Patel is follower of this sect.
Patel was introduced to the office by K.Kailashnathan and Chief Secretary Pankaj Kumar. The staffers of Chief Minister’s office, aides from Ghatlodia assembly constituency area among others greeted Patel on his taking charge of the office at Swarnim Sankul – 1.
